Every love story begins with a first impression.
For me, that first impression has always been found in thoughtful design—the texture of beautiful paper, the elegance of timeless typography, and the little details that transform a simple invitation into the beginning of a lifelong memory.
I'm Devin Frey, founder and creative designer behind Elle & Ess.
For more than twenty years, I've built a career in graphic design and marketing, creating visual experiences for luxury brands, interior designers, and discerning clients throughout New Jersey. Throughout that journey, one thing has remained constant: my belief that exceptional design should tell a story.
Elle & Ess was born from two of the people who shaped mine.
The name honors my mother, Linda, and my late father, Stephen—their initials becoming Elle and Ess. It also carries a quiet tribute to my hometown of Little Silver, New Jersey, a place that taught me to appreciate timeless beauty, meaningful relationships, and life's most treasured celebrations.
Every wedding collection I create is completely custom and thoughtfully curated to reflect each couple's personality, venue, and vision. From the first Save the Date to the final Thank You Card, my goal is to create a seamless wedding brand that feels elegant, authentic, and unmistakably yours.
I believe the smallest details often leave the greatest impression.
Whether it's a handcrafted invitation suite, a beautifully illustrated venue, a luxurious paper texture, or a perfectly designed place card waiting at each guest's seat, these moments become part of the memories your family and friends will cherish for years to come.
Designing those moments is both my passion and my privilege.
When I'm not creating for clients, you'll usually find me searching for inspiration along the Jersey Shore, exploring historic estates and charming small towns, or spending time with my family—the people who continue to inspire everything I create.
